I was just doing some web browsing on my Garmin Phone during my spare time at my work place, and I came across something I thought was interesting . It linked over to your site so I clicked over. I can't really figure out the relevance between your site and the one I came from, but your site good none the less .

I was just talking with my coworker about this the other day at the resturant. Don't know how in the world we landed on the topic actually , they brought it up. I do remember having a amazing steak salad with sunflower seeds on it. I digress...

The easiest way to think about it is to look at a challenge that you really wish you didn't have to face, such as my declining health has been for me. Hence, the first step is to recognize that you have to deal with the issue--ACCEPT it. Then you have to think thru what changes need to be made in your life in order to still be yourself and accomplish your dreams, even with the unplanned challenges. This is the adapt stage. Finally, the easy part...appreciating the life you have with all of its richness....your friends, the things you do that bring you joy, the fact that you can still "kick the dirt" around. Appreciating life is what makes life worthwhile. That's why I've come to think of the "road bumps" as a way to reconnect with what is important and to not live my life paying not enough attention to all that is right with my world.

Hope this helps! And thanks for the question!

This can be done. The easiest way is to contact my social networking person, Maggie Palmer, at maggie@maggiekpalmer.com. What organization/blog would you be representing?
