Online at WELE–Daytona Beach

Great interview yesterday (June 15th) on WELE Radio, Daytona Beach.  Host Paul Carpenella responded to the new RTIR ad that features the theme “Mr. T Goes to Washington.”  It was a different conversation, proving that changing the ad really does change what happens during the interview.  Now, do you think Daytona residents will find us?  Hope so!

While we keep working on the books, the good news is that The Bad Enchilada and Boomerang are both being greeted with open arms!  They are beautiful, thanks to Lisa’s ongoing, amazing creativity and talent!  Trish makes it all work, making us all look brilliant!  And Joel…thanks for the website redesign!

We’re off to Minnesota tomorrow to see if we can secure a strong distribution and fulfillment partner.  That means you’ll find us in more places…promise!  Also, working on the t-shirts, etc. for all of you to ponder…and then purchase!  We want to make sure we do it right, so taking a bit of time to compare quotes, conditions…quality.  All that good stuff.

Book Fair and New Releases

Books about fleas...on fleas!!

First, sorry for the long delay in getting back online.  The inspiration for this entire venture, books, websites, blogs, and so on was my diagnosis of scleroderma.  That being said, there are times when the “cause” of so much joy also has unavoidable “effects.”  But, I’m working to get back to full steam and intend to keep enjoying time with you as long as possible!

This was an eventful week, as the two new titles in the series, The Boomerang and The Bad Enchilada, were released.  They were ready just in time for the Groton Library Children’s Book Fair.  A well attended and well-run event, we met  many interesting and interested people, actually got some ideas for new books, and enjoyed watching the “kids” get their faces painted!

For the first time we had coloring pages from the three books available, which were a big hit.  We’ll get these posted to the website for free downloading within the next week.  We’ll also have pages for the two new books available on the website for your viewing.  They’re truly beautiful…Lisa has once again outdone herself.

As we get ready for the major promotional launch of the three book limited edition package, we’ll keep you posted!

A New Day…A New Flea!

While working up new story lines today, I realized I didn’t have a flea for the book “Copy Cat,” which will focus on the need to follow one’s own bliss in life….that’s when all of us are at our best and life comes naturally!!

Thought about it…and up and present came ECHO.  Now, wonder what a personality this little guy will have?

Anyway, I’d also like to invite all of you to dig into your own histories, think about all those that have taught you lessons, and join the fun!
